FLOOR FIXED BARRES

STM’s Floor mounted dance barres are the solution to putting a barre where the wall is a lightweight gyprock construction OR next to a glass wall keeping a safe distance from the glass.

• ​Floor fixed barres are practical where the mirror is already installed and is a practical and elegant barre in its own right.
  • Mirror wall bracket systems are also available here.

• Fixings for the barre stanchion are most suited to concrete sub floors but can be adapted to alternative footings.

• Barres can extend to unlimited lengths and there are economies of scale in doing this.

• All barres comply with Australian Barrier Standard AS/NZ 1170.2 and come with the standard STM Studio Supplies limited warranty (complete with all fixing and fittings).

• Ideal for all exercise environments from dance studios through to gyms, dojos and pilates.

Floor Fixed Pilates Barre Supports

We offer two height options, depending on your program or preference:

• XPS Xtend Pilates Stanchion – 990mm to top of barre

• XPSD Double Barre Stanchion – 990mm bottom barre 1070 top barre

All stanchions are supplied in a standard black powder coat. Custom Dulux colours are available on request, please contact us for options and pricing

Stanchion Cover Plates & Retrofit Options

Our Pilates stanchions can be supplied with optional cover plates, providing a clean and professional finish particularly valuable for retrofit installations. These plates are designed to conceal floor bolts, creating a safer and more refined appearance in your studio.

For installations where the base plate sits above floor level, we also offer offset spacers to support the cover plate. This ensures a smooth transition between the floor and the plate, reducing trip hazards and delivering a neat, secure finish.
