We are having trouble keeping up with the demand for Pilates barres, brackets and legs in Australia! We decided our dance barres, which are designed for a different application were inappropriate and designed something fabulous to suit. 

Addressing the particular demands of Pilates on conventional Dance Barres, STM Studio Supplies have designed and field-tested a range of Pilates-specific supports and brackets.

  • ​Extra-large base plate and more fixing points for stability

  • Designed to withstand the lateral demands of the Xtend Barre, Booty Barre and other similar programs

  • Available in black finish as standard, with powder coating and custom leg heights available

  • Double barre bracket and mirror wall bracket systems are available

    • Available in Dance and Pilates formats

    • Avoids unsightly penetrations into mirror glass

    • Avoids weakening the mirror glass

    • Neat, attractive finish with no conflict between mirror planes

Floor Fixed Pilates Leg Supports

Our stanchions are available in two heights (to top of timber barre):

  1. XPS Xtend Barre – 990mm 

  2. XDS Dance & Ballet Barre – 1070mm 

All of our stanchions and brackets come in black as the stock colour.

We can powder coat to your preferred colour, POA, from the Dulux range. Custom colours do incur additional fees. 

We also have a unique Mirror Wall Bracket available, these do need to be fitted at the same time as your mirrors so have the mirror panels widths available when you request your quote!

Mirror Wall Brackets

In response to the common requirement to have barres on a mirror wall, STM Studio Supplies have developed a system which does this in an elegant and robust manner.

  • ​Available in Dance and Pilates Formats

  • Easily retrofitted to existing walls
